The three-story Ortho RI center under construction near the Crowne Plaza in Greenwood is expected to be completed and ready to open in March. The 66,000 square foot full service orthopedic center will become the flagship of Ortho RI that has facilities across the state staffed by 23 physicians and 19 physician assistants. With the opening of the center, Ortho RI will consolidate its Warwick and East Greenwich operations while maintaining offices in Providence, Wakefield, East Providence, Smithfield, Westerly and Bristol. Calspan Development and Construction of Buffalo, NY is general contractor of the project. A spokeswoman for Ortho RI said the new facility will expand capabilities and would also house an Ortho Express. (Warwick Beacon photo)
