Concluding a year where meetings went from being in person to Zoom and then back to in-person, Dan Scanlon Jr. handed over the Warwick Rotary Club president’s gavel to Steve Hinger. Hinger is no stranger to either the club or the role of president. He joined the service club in 1996 and served as its president in 2004-05. Sharon Johnson of Rotary District 7950, at right, administered the oath of office to Hinger and treasurer Carol Ritarossi. The club that has initiated or assisted with numerous community projects over the years meets Thursdays for lunch at Chelo’s Restaurant on Post Road. (Warwick Beacon photo)
