To recognize Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month, Mastery Martial Arts is partnering with the New England Hemophilia Association (NEHA) to host a Push-Up-A-Thon. Their goal is to do 50,000 push-ups.
The push-up challenge will be held at all six Mastery schools on March 18 and more than 500 people are expected to attend. This is Mastery’s first Push-Up-A-Thon since March 2020, when Mastery held a 10,000-push-up challenge that raised over $12,000 for NEHA. The Push-Up-A-Thon will be held March 18, 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at all six area Mastery locations in Cumberland, East Greenwich, Johnston, Smithfield, Warwick, and Attleboro, MA. All funds raised from the Push-Up-A-Thon will go towards assisting families facing unexpected financial hardship. There are an estimated 1,000 people living with hemophilia in New England and 20,000 in the US, according to NEHA.
