The CREATES Study
“Cognitive Recovery After Elective Surgery”
CREATES is an observational study led by Dr. Lori Daiello that uses an innovative brain imaging technique to learn about brain health in patients 70 years or older who are having major surgery at Lifespan’s Rhode Island Hospital or the Miriam Hospital. This study aims to better understand why some older adults develop long-lasting changes in their memory and thinking abilities after major surgery. To find out more about the CREATES Study, please contact the study staff at 1-833-220-0100 or email CREATS@lifespan.org.
