Americans should be aware of who these Jan 6th Trump-inspired insurrectionists were and what they wanted using their own words.

Pennsylvania resident Dawn Bancroft broke into the Capitol on Jan 6th. In a video sent to her children she reportedly said, “We were looking for Nancy (Pelosi) to shoot her in the friggin’ brain.”

Garret Miller, of Texas, also involved in the riot reportedly sent a tweet saying “Assassinate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.”

Sheriff’s Deputy Peter Heneen, of Florida, sent remarks including “Shoot the feds,” “I’ll f****** kill them all,” and “Need to have the streets of D.C. run red with the blood of the tyrants.”

Justin Stoll, of Ohio, posted videos of himself outside the Capitol saying “D.C.’s a war zone! … You ain’t got enough cops, baby! We are at war.”

And then there was the mob shouting, “Hang Mike Pence!”

What’s the GOP response to Trump’s instigation of this with his constant, self-serving claims of a stolen election and a ruined America should he lose?

Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina says, “I’m really more focused on moving ahead.”

“I think we ought to encourage people to move on rather than live in the past,” said Senator John Cornyn of Texas.

“I just think we need to move forward,” said Senator Marco Rubio of Florida.

The GOP elephants are now preaching the value of having a short memory.
