St. Rocco School held a Veterans Day prayer service last Thursday. The service was led by eighth grade students who presented flags from fives branches of the military — the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard.

Each grade played a special role in the ceremony, with second and third graders singing Amazing Grace, fifth graders holding poppies, and sixth graders reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. After the service, students gathered outside the church to watch the seventh-grade class perform the patriotic drumming of the Stars and Stripes.
