Stephen (Steve) E. Redfern, 76 of Dunedin, Florida and formerly of Rhode Island passed away on April 11, 2022 at Empath Suncoast Hospice in Palm Harbor, Florida.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island he was the son of the late Vernon C. and Doris (Pike) Redfern.
Steve is survived by his companion and best friend of 26 years, Rosemary Larke, his daughter, Lindsay and Jeffery Lazzeri of Boynton Beach, Florida; two grandchildren, Olivia and Tyler; his brother David Redfern of Palm Harbor, Florida and niece Robin Davenport of Arizona.
Steve grew up in Rhode Island and attended Warwick Veterans High School. He enjoyed spending summers with lifelong friends at Buttonwoods Campers Association of Warwick, Rhode Island.
Steve worked numerous years at Bell Sports and Superior Uniform where he cultivated many friendships. He enjoyed traveling and cruising, fishing, boating, good food “ice cream”, and his passion for the Tampa Bay Rays and his “razzing” of the Boston Red Sox. He will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of calling him “Friend”.
