Sylvester E. Perry, Jr., 74, died Thursday, October 27, 2022. He was the beloved husband for 54 years of Diana M. (Oliveira) Perry. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Sylvester E. and Irene (Silva) Perry. Sylvester was employed with Icon Office Solution for 45 years, retiring as Director of Service. He honorably served in the US Army with the 508th Military Battalion at Fort Riley, Kansas during the Vietnam War and was discharged as Sargent. He was the beloved father of Sylvester E. Perry, III (Kristen Papa) and Christopher J. Perry and the devoted grandfather of Talia Perry Papa, Trent, Tyler, and Adora Perry. He is predeceased by sister, Eileen Perry Gaudreau.
A visitation will be held Thursday from 9-10am with a service at 10am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery with full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
