To the Editor:

The Reverend Harry Rix hates Donald Trumps guts (“Time to speak up and take action,” July 23). That much is certain.

Problem is, he can’t admit it. And that creates a terrible fix for the Reverend Rix.

As a Christian, Reverend Rix is not supposed to hate his fellow man. But, as a left-leaning zealot, he can't help himself. He viscerally despises Donald Trump.

In his letter, Rix launches a hate filled attack on the President. He mercilessly denigrates Trump’s character as well his actions. He accuses the President of being a remorseless, sociopathic killer.

But then he pulls his punches. He equivocates. When asked if he hates Trump, Rix denies it. The Reverend waffles, insisting that he hates the sin but loves the sinner, ignoring the fact that he has just publicly condemned the sinner Trump.

Harry Rix hates Donald Trump. He should just come out once and scream it. I would disagree with his sentiments, but at least I could respect his honesty.

Rev Rix puts up a hate filled smoke screen regarding President Trump because when reelected he will appoint another conservative judge after Ruth Ginsburg retires or meets her Maker, and that will be the end of this horrible baby killing which commenced in 1973 and which has killed 61 million, one third of whom are black, and which must be condemned by every Christian. The Bible says that the baby (not a lump of flesh) John leaped in his mother's womb when Mary met her. Harry Rix should remove his surname, Reverend, to not confuse the reader.
