Terry Paine, age 69, formerly of Cranston. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing our brother, Terry Paine, at Riverview Healthcare Community on April 8.
Born in Providence, the son of the late Royal F. Paine Jr. and the late Rita M. (Hickey) Paine, he grew-up in Warwick and Narragansett, where he enjoyed summering at his home in Bonnet Shores. For many years, Terry was a season ticket holder for Providence College basketball games. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. After retiring from the State of Rhode Island, he became involved with Access Point RI, and participated in the Special Olympics. Spending time with family was very important to him.
He leaves his three sisters, Cheryl Stasio of Cranston, Sharyn Paine of Marblehead, MA, and Judith Cicero (John) of Providence, and their families. He will be greatly missed.
We would like to thank the entire staff at Riverview for the excellent care, as well as Nursing Placement Hospice Care, especially CNA Carmen.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, his Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mark Church, Garden City, Cranston, and his burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich, were private.
