To the Editor,

Thank you, mayor and your team!

I often wonder how much everyone recognizes how much the mayor does in a 24-hour day and how committed he is to Warwick. The demands everyone puts on him and his staff are hard to keep track of, but with the love of Warwick, they all keep this city moving in the right direction. Our mayor’s devotion and hard work has helped us to grow in the right direction.

I have worked with the mayor for the past year, and all he keeps asking “What can we do for Conimicut?” He orchestrated a team of DPW, police, fire and state employees to help Conimicut have the best Christmas celebration ever, and everyone came through with flying colors. The mayor even joined in on our flash mob, singing and shaking his bells to the enjoyment of the 1,000 onlookers. It was a magical evening.

Conimicut Village Association obtained a small grant to put on the event, but without the city’s help we could not have pulled it off. Thank you to all the behind-the-scenes people who made sure it was a success and all the villagers who showed RI that little villages like Conimicut throw the “biggest and bestest” celebrations.
