The Collaborative, a nonprofit arts organization, announces two Creative Writing workshops hosted by talented local writer Eve Kerrigan. The workshops will take place on Thursdays, Nov. 18 and Dec. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Collaborative gallery at 498 Main St. in Warren.

Kerrigan is a teacher, editor, and a writer of fiction and personal essays. She is an enthusiast of all things amusing and creative. Her writing has been broadcast on The Public’s Radio and published in arc(hive), High Noon Magazine, L’Allure Des Mots, The Oddville Press, 521 Magazine, and other literary journals.

“Using the art hanging in the gallery as inspiration, writers will generate multiple short pieces by the end of the evening. Then, we give participants an opportunity to share their work then and there,” said Kerrigan. “This is a workshop for writers of all skill levels. Whether you’re a published author or just starting out, every writer can benefit from group workshops like this, to share ideas and see how others work.”

Pre-registration is required, with a fee of $25.
