Former Warwick Mayor and retired Supreme Court Justice Frank Flaherty and current Warwick Mayor Frank Picozzi posed for a photo with the legendary Mayor’s Medallion, which was presented to the City of Warwick, RI, USA, by the Borough of Warwick, England. An inscription on the back of the medal advises the heavy necklace was intended “for the use of the mayor of that city and to commemorate the exchange of visits between Mayor Joseph Mills, of the American City, and Mayor George Tibbits, of the English Borough, in August and September, 1955.” (Warwick Beacon photo by Rory Schuler)
