A climate change con job

To the Editor,

Electric cars run on coal and natural gas. Green energy advocates don’t tell you that, but it’s true.
Here in Rhode Island, 80% of our electricity is generated by burning natural gas; other states burn more coal. Whatever state you find yourself in, when you charge your electric car or bus, especially if it’s at nighttime, you are most likely relying on fossil fuels.
Fossil fuels provided for, and are essential to preserving, our nation’s unprecedented economic prosperity. We abandon them at our peril.
The rush towards unreliable wind and solar energy has so far served primarily to enrich and empower Communist China. Whether it has provided any real benefit to the environment is questionable. What is certain is that this forced transition from coal, oil and gas has placed a terrible financial burden on ordinary Americans.
American consumers are being played for suckers in a climate change con job. It is time to stop the anti-fossil fuel hype and hysteria. It’s time to tell the climate change scammers and extremists to go pound sand.

You are right on. No one ever mentions the most obvious - that electric cars are still run by coal and natural gas. It's about a political agenda as is everything else with these climate change scammers.

"There’s nothing stopping Big Oil from taking advantage of the next crisis and hiking gas prices again. We need to pass my Big Oil windfall profits clawback to send their excess gains back to consumers and discourage this reckless greed." Senator Whitehouse on Twitter.

And what will stop these extremist Democrats from shutting down the American fossil fuel industry and with it our economy?
