Thomas E. Young, 66, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 35 years of Paulette L. (Kerns) Young. Born in Iowa City, IA. He was a son of the late Thomas J. and Amy L. (Johnson) Young, and had resided in Warwick for 35 years. Tom was a graduate of Cornell College, Mt. Vernon, IA. Tom worked at Travelers Insurance for 40 years, most recently in Braintree, MA. Retiring as an Account Executive Officer in the Bond Department in March of this year.
Besides his wife he leaves his brother Mark and wife Pam Young of Indianola, IA and his sister Karen and husband Kevin Urick of Prophetstown, IL. He also leaves seven nieces and nephews and 14 great-nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. To say Tom was an avid fisherman is an understatement. He will be buried at sea, where he always wanted to be.
