Thomas G. Walason Sr., longtime resident of Warwick, died Sunday, December 20, 2020 at The Greenwood Center. He was the beloved husband for 55 years of Linda L. (Ramsey) Walason.

Born in Providence, Tom was a son of the late Charles and Olive (Estes) Walason. Tom was a valued employee of the City of Warwick, having served as a truck driver in the highway department until his retirement in 2001. He was very devoted to his family.

Besides his beloved wife, he leaves behind his loving children, Thomas G. Walason Jr., of Warwick and Lori A. Gilpin (and the late Richard) of Danielson, CT., his siblings Raymond Walason of West Warwick, Stephen Walason of Plainfield, CT., and Sylvia Lomba of Cranston. He was predeceased by brothers Charles, Franklin, and Walter Walason, and a sister Julia Brown. Tom will be sadly missed by all those who loved and knew him.

An Outdoor Walk-Through Visitation, Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. was at the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. COVID-19 Regulations to be observed.
