To the Editor,

Although the first census of the United States was not taken until 1790, it has been estimated that around only 2 million people were living in the 13 colonies when the American Revolution was hatched back in 1776. The Founding Fathers of this nation were men ready to step in and foster the revolution to build a new and unique nation conceived of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Back then, there were such prodigious giants of men as George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, John Adams and Patrick Henry, just to name a few.

The United States’ 2020 census shows the population of this nation has expanded to over 331 million souls since then. That’s a population that has swelled to over 165 times to what it was about 250 years ago.

So, who were the two front runners for the presidency of this nation when the race first started this year? In a nation that had its collection of available citizens swelled to over 165 times greater than those who were around back almost two-and-one-half centuries ago, it looked like the best the Democratic and Republican parties could come up with was sleepy Joe Biden, and that spoiled little rich kid who is still stamping his feet ‘cause he didn’t win the last election, Donald Trump!

Then just before the Democratic National Convention, the Democrats said no! Then pulled their original number-one candidate out of the race! (So much for party loyalty.) The greatest Democrat they could find to run for the presidency now became Kamala Harris. A woman who has helped bring over 10 million illegal aliens into this country so far this year, and possibly 40 to 50 million during her tenure as America’s first border czar. A woman so interested in that new government position, created especially for her, that it took her over 6 months just to go down there to see what was going on for herself. A woman who has done such an awful job as border czar, the Border Patrol union recently announced they were unanimously supporting the Republican candidate for the very first time ever. National Border Patrol Guard President Paul Perez said, “If we allow border guard czar Harris to win this election, every city, every community in this great country, is going to hell!”

Harris has been a candidate who always comes up with the same answer when asked how she would fix this or that. “I have a plan,” she always answers. But no one can tell you what any of her plans are or how she would fix this or that.

And, although Harris argued her opponent during their debate that violent crimes were down 2% in 2022, the FBI had recently revised those figures and said, violent crimes, including murders, assaults, rapes rose almost 5% in 2022.

Donald Trump knew that, but the vice president of our United States did not!

Harris seems to be a woman whose only reason for running for the presidency is that she’s not rude like her opponent. At least that’s what she talks about when asked why she is running, saying that Trump is a rude or insulting person. So now, she has the chance of going up against Donald Trump to become the president of the United States just because of being there!?

Looking back at this year’s Democratic choices, from Joe Biden then to Kamala Harris, and looking at the Republicans’ choice of Donald Trump as well, I have to ask, could Charles Darwin have possibly ever been so wrong!???
