Vito R. D’Ambra, 87, a retired supervisor for GIEGY Pharmaceutical,
passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis A. (Grant) D’Ambra for 67 years.
Mr. D’Ambra was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Genaro and Margaret (Mulligan) D’Ambra. Vito was the loving father of Ronald V. D’Ambra, Phyllis A. Duquette (David) and the late Deborah A. D’Ambra and Richard A. D’Ambra; loving grandfather of James D’Ambra, Jessica Duquette, Dennis Duquette and the late David Duquette; loving greatgrandfather of Ronald J. Tabele III: brother of Margaret Cook and the late Genaro D’Ambra, Americo D’Ambra, Roseann Higgins and Constance Cabral. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mr. D’Ambra was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War.
His funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial with Military Honors will be at the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
