The No More Hunger Walk, held this past fall, raised more than $11,000 for local food pantries and the Westbay Marketplace. Participating groups and churches included Boy Scout Troop 1 Conimicut, Conimicut Village Association, Concordia Center for Spiritual Living, Girl Scout Troop 286, Lakewood Baptist, St Barnabas Episcopal, St Mark’s Episcopal, Warwick Central Baptist, and Woodbury Union, Presbyterian. Mayor Frank Picozzi and Senator Michael McCaffrey greeted the walkers at the send off.
