We can rebound

To the Editor,

Many states are in the early phase of their reopening process. Much will be learned and adjustments will occur as they progress through this difficult task. The chief concern is that the elderly and others may not return immediately as they are deeply troubled about their safety in any public venue.

The elderly usually support in stronger numbers: restaurants, casinos, entertainment, and religious venues. These entities usually require larger amounts of cash flow to continue to operate.

It remains to be seen how effective the new reopening process will be since we are still months away from developing a vaccine. If and when developed we still need a swift means to manufacture and vaccinate all the populace over a shorten time frame.

In the past we have shown that we can rebound from insurmountable adversities. By observance of the safety protocols we will overcome this horrific pandemic.
