West Warwick student cast in 'A Christmas Carol'

Trinity Rep’s 45th annual production of “A Christmas Carol” continues the long tradition of young local actors performing alongside Trinity Rep’s acting company and guest artists. This year’s children’s cast includes West Warwick resident Warnsey Wiggins, who attends John F. Deering Middle School. Warnsey will play the roles of Turkey Kid and Dick Wilkins.

Dazzling audiences young and old alike, Trinity Rep’s annual production of the holiday classic has become a southern New England tradition, having been shown to over 1.6 million people since 1976. Last year, Trinity Rep held a free on-demand streaming version of the show, which was viewed by more than 200,000 people worldwide.

Tickets are on sale now for in-person performances of “A Christmas Carol” Nov. 4, 2021 to Jan. 2, 2022 in the Chace Theater, and for the on-demand streaming version, which will be available Dec. 6, 2021 through Jan. 16, 2022. Trinity Rep is one of nine Rhode Island performing arts organizations and venues requiring proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 (at least 14 days have passed since the final dose), or proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken in the prior 72-hours, or proof of a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken in the prior 6-hours.
