William V. Carcieri Sr., 101, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at home. He was the husband of the late Edith (Buckler) Carcieri. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carmine and Josephine (Morile) Carcieri.
William was a World War II Army Veteran. He was in the shoe business all of his working life. Before retiring, he owned and operated The Shoe Store in North Kingstown with his late wife Edith
William was the beloved father of William V. Carcieri, Jr. and his wife Marie, Step-father of Lorie Griffin and Harvey Klemer, loving grandfather of Melissa, Christie and Tammy and loving great-grandfather of Joseph, Jacob and Isabelle.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Monday, June 21, 2021 at 11 a.m. in St. Peter Church, Fair Street, Warwick. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
Visiting hours are Sunday, June 20, 2021, 3-6 p.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick.
