If shoplifters read this paper, or had ANY idea how many cameras there are in stores, they wouldn't THINK of taking something they didn't pay for. Warwick Mall has impressive surveillance and recording gear observing not just the mall, but the parking lots and theater as well (plus the major stores have their own undercovers, cameras, and theft detection devices.
Stealing less than $50 worth of merchandise turns into hundreds or thousands in fines, or possible time in ACI Intake if they have a warrant or steal more than $100 worth of property.
One of these wizards lives literally TWO BLOCKS from the WalMart, and he will probably be trespassed from the store- can't shop at the store closest to his residence...brilliant!
