Is that the only type of job Raimondo is proposing? Construction? I haven't heard her speak of anything else, any other type of job creation. What happens when everything is built? What about those who do not "build", what about women? Is she suggesting RI is only capable of attracting blue-collar grunt work? Shouldn't we be trying to attract good jobs, and LONG-TERM employment here? Companies, corporations? And people who can afford to live here, not those who wish to benefit from our generous social services? I think RI deserves better than a couple of short-term construction jobs for the connected few. If this is all she is holding in her hand, we are screwed. We need REAL solutions, not a bunch of union guys standing around a hole, the same type of thing that got us into this mess in the first place.
