Report Inappropriate Comments

It is always amusing when members of the non-profit and/or government segments of the economy comment of what drives business and how to attract it. I can assure Ms. Fields that the cost of housing, which is low compared with MA, CT, and NH, is not a factor in businesses moving to RI. Rather, RI's confiscatory system of taxation and stifling regulatory climate make most potential employers (myself included) say "No Thanks". RI does not need additional low-income housing for low-skilled workers. The state is already known as a mecca for such things. And it certainly does not need additional taxpayer expenditures to underwrite such a scheme.
