I failed to elaborate on your statement " the Mayor negotiated the contracts solely." Again ,Richard it demonstrates your lack of understanding about the role the City Council plays in contract negotiations.

Thanks to Council Solomon who had the City Council pass an ordinance years ago, the City Council can or cannot ratify the contracts the Mayor enters into with the unions.

Your buddies namely, Vella-Wilkinson, Travis, Usler and Ladoseur all voted a few months ago to ratify the latest contracts the Mayor entered into. There wasn't an objection from your gang regarding any provisions of the contract.

Sorry Richard.....you're still trying to have it both ways but the are voters who won't allow you to get away with it.
