1. I ask again: what are the occupancy numbers for Warwick's other hotels? Do they justify building another hotel in a saturated market, especially an upscale one whose price will discourage locals from putting up family and friends there?

2. If conventions don't come to the existing Providence Convention Center (wired for slot machines when it was built), what makes anyone think they'll come to Warwick?

3. Do area residents want to deal with the crowd from, say, a science fiction or cosplay convention if one came? They'll have no say in the type of convention in their backyard.

Area residents will be the first to suffer from this boondoggle.
