Every time Rhode Island raises fees or taxes, and truck tolls certainly qualify, business, industry, and commerce slip out the door to other states. With borders so close, Massachusetts is the main beneficiary. The legislators still don't get it as Rhode Island's economic imprint shrinks. So keep layering on those costs and float more bonds Rep.
