Camille Wilkinson is the Giant Warwick Panda-er. She has ignored the people of Warwick and pandered to special interest groups since the day she was elected. Backed by union members, she ignores all others and has taken repetitive steps to silence people and sequester their first amendment rights. If you are from a special interest group ie LGBT community, gun rights advocate, etc.. you will get the opportunity to speak at city hall. If you are concerned about overspending, taxes, education, road conditions, waste of public monies, you will be silenced. Look at Wilkinson's performance:

1. She negotiated Memorandum of Understanding between the city and the Rhode Island Airport Corporation, although in 2010 her platform statement was that she was bitterly opposed to runway expansion. A complete failure to the people of the city. Corporate take over of taxable land given away to corporate interests. Not withstanding the destruction of the Winslow community. Here's a link.

2. She was the leader of the movement to relocate the Winslow fields. Great job, now the kids of Warwick play 100 yds from an active runway and inhale toxic fumes. Several Massachusetts ball leagues have already decided to boycott tournaments held at the new fields due to the noise and fumes. Here's the link.

3. Wilkinson signed the lease agreement for the fields with RIAC. It is a month to month lease with no protection built in for the Warwick taxpayers or the kids. What responsible person signs a month to month lease where the other party can end the lease, take over the land and the buildings, with a 6 month notice, and transferring any and all maintenance and removal costs to the Warwick taxpayer. 4. Wilkinson, according to the AG office, "knowingly and willfully violated open meetings act" while on the retirement board. The result of her violations was a $2000 fine levied against the Warwick taxpayer. That's right, she violates the law, we pay the fine. Here's the link.

5. Wilkinson violated the city charter and circumvented the city council and hired her friend Kathleen Avila as the city auditor for 30K + benefits. The result was extensive costs and hearings to re-visit the process, Wilkinson castigating the male members of the council calling them sexist because she violated the city charter. after only a few months, with zero work product, the auditor quit. 6. How about her audit resolution? She puts forth a resolution to have a forensic audit of the city. As soon as a city worker was caught stealing she removed the resolution and stated it was too costly but she would put forth another resolution for a general audit. What about when she had a retired Warwick firefighter arrested because he attempted to ask questions about open fires in his neighborhood and the health problems associated with these violations. Wilkinson ignored him, was rude to him and to silence him she brought bogus disruption charges against him. Here's the link.
