What a fiasco. The teachers union in all likelihood will win. Maximum layoffs will be 20 plus whatever is achieved through teacher retirements. The overall end result will be a new teacher contract where any raises will have to be absorbed in the next fiscal school year's budget which will means fewer Chromebooks, middle school sports, & other educational programs. Warwick's School System will continue to experience bad publicity. In addition, the elementary consolidation process still needs to occur & from past/recent history will also be a fiasco.
