Dear Steve,

I enjoyed reading your remarks about wanting to "applaud anyone who decides to start his or her own business...here in Warwick." Please join me in support of offering tax rebate checks to anyone who opens a brick-and-mortar business. Start-up New York is an organization that will eliminate taxes for ten years if you relocate there. I feel we can entice a few businesses from Cranston or Providence, and when they locate in Warwick they will bring jobs and taxpayers with them. That's something, I think you agree, Warwick desperately needs. In the last ten years Warwick has lost 5,800 taxpayers and 4,666 businesses. We need to reverse that trend. Tax rebate checks will go a long way. So will eliminating building permit fees for two years to stimulate construction that will bring in additional tax revenue forever. Do you agree that these ideas will bring in "more jobs and tax revenue"?

Please let me know.

Thanks Steve.
