Warwick doesn't do nearly enough for its Senior Citizens or its Veterans.

Veterans get a paltry $135.00 tax exemption (Cranston and other cities offer many times that) and Seniors pay more for their car tax than they could sell their car for (in many cases).

As Mayor, I propose we cut the car tax in half for Seniors and Veterans and offer free transportation for seniors for essential trips like food shopping excursions.

Please join me at Lemongrass on August 8th for a fundraiser and if you are a Veteran or a Senior Citizen, please come as my guest at no cost to you. Lemongrass is located at 1138 Post Rd. and I will be there from 5 to 8 PM. I am looking forward to meeting you there and in the meantime please visit www.correntemayorwarwick.com. or call me at 338-9900 or 886-5600.

Thank you.
