Warwick needs more of this! We need to promote our water activities. Visitors/tourists become new homeowners, new business owners and especially, new taxpayers, which reduces the taxes on the rest of us. We need to promote Warwick to the rest of Rhode Island and as activities like these increase the interest in Warwick, our total number of taxpayers will increase, schools will receive new students, our taxes-per-taxpayer will decrease, our property values will increase, and our quality-of-life will improve. Warwick needs "Welcome to Warwick" signs and magazines, flowers in the wrought iron planters at City Hall (and Christmas decorations as well), and an all-out program to get people to move "into" Warwick, not "out of". I suggest tax rebate checks to attract new home buyers and businesses and a 2 year moratorium on building permit fees to stimulate construction which increases tax revenue forever. Warwick has lost 5,800 taxpayers and 4,666 businesses in the last ten years alone. That is disgraceful and as Mayor I plan on reversing that trend. I can see concerts in Rocky Point, parades such as St. Patrick's Day, and a campaign to promote our beaches. Please join me with your vote, your suggestions and your time.

Thank you. Welcome "Autumn".
