It is such a joy to see this group of Greene teachers, so many of whom I had the privilege of having in the classroom. I later went on to serve as PTO president at Sherman school and work directly with Al Berger. Also, I worked for the Warwick School administration for 10 years and had the pleasure of seeing Jack Welch again as a substitute principal serving at Drum Rock elementary. I remember running into Mrs. Marcantonio in Dunkin Donuts several times and it never ceased to amaze me how she remembered so many of her students by name and face even after we had grown up. She always recognized my brother and I even though she had us in class 8 years apart! Mr. Finan's drilling of multiplication tables has served me well over the years! I now live in Tallahassee FL, and am the Director of Human Resources for the FL Education Association. I like to think that this fine group of educators planted the seed of respect for education in me as I consider myself dedicated to the cause of improving public education, as well as a lifelong learner. Thank you for your years of wonderful service and I look forward to seeing future postings of your group.
