Rick, I have read your website. Apparently YOU HAVEN'T because it said you would ask for a 5% reduction in EVERY city department. It continues...those who cut 5% will be "rewarded", those who don't "punished". Perhaps you should spend less time grandstanding and more time reading the website you continually tell others to read.

Rick, your problem is you don't like being called out. The honest truth is you will not be able to cut taxes and it shows more and more with every comment you write.

Your whole campaign is telling people "16 straight years of tax increases is enough". You can't even guarantee it won't be 18 years or 20 straight years under your administration. Atleast with this mayor I know the increase will be modest. You continue to dodge every question given to you. I have been constructive in my criticism, and I have laid my case out time after time. I have told you the revenue is not there and you won't even acknowledge that. You can continue to attack me Rick, but you can't tell me where I'm wrong and that speaks volumes.

You are just another politician telling people what they want to hear. The more you comment, the more you come off like a snake oil salesmen. You tell me to come up with a better idea, my better idea is for you to acknowledge you will not be able to cut taxes.

Not to mention the other huge amounts of money you want to spend, all while crying the city will go "bankrupt" in 2 years. There is a word for someone who spews nonsense, doesn't acknowledge it and continues to lie to people...it's called a fraud.
