Here are the facts:

Fact: Rep Joe McNamara cares enough about Warwick taxpayers to want the air to continue to be tested. Thank you Joe.

Fact: Mayor Avedisian publicly opposes it! As quoted above.

Fact: I have been saying for years that the mayor gave away the tax revenue on over one hundred houses to the RIAC and all the Warwick taxpayers got was air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution, and soil pollution and as Mayor I will renegotiate the airport agreement. Keeping this necessary air test will be part of the renegotiated agreement. If any critic tells you that "the airport agreement is a done deal and can't be re-negotiated" laugh at him. This is Our City. Any agreement is revise-able as circumstances change. Only a fool would think otherwise. I have spoken to the RIAC people. They truly want to be better neighbors. I plan on helping them with that. As Mayor I WILL renegotiate the airport agreement to the betterment of all Warwick taxpayers and I expect all taxpayers to hold me to it.
