Dear Mayor Avedisian,

As you know I have been a loud and constant advocate of "cut taxes - cut spending".

I feel that it is the only way to reverse the trend of taxpayers moving out of the city you and I love so much. I have clashed with you on this subject on several occasions but today I read that you are calling yourself "a political realist" and have decided not to veto any of the 29 amendments to the budget.

For that I deeply thank you.

Naturally, I will take some credit for influencing your decision.

Naturally, I will take some credit for influencing the City Council.

Naturally I will give a whole lot of credit to the 13,278 taxpayers that voted for me. (Their message was the loudest)

But the truth is all credit goes to you and the 2017 City Council. You listened to the taxpayers and you and the City Council both PUT THE TAXPAYERS FIRST.

Again, thank you.

Very Happy Summer to you.

Very Happy Summer everyone.
