There is a lot of danger in Narragansett Bay for the next week or so. With hurricane Gert and the solar eclipse on Monday (8-21), the undertow is extreme. Surf fisherman are already reporting problems and that's in shallow water. Enjoy the beaches but not the water for the next few days, not just because of the bacteria count.
