Absolutely ridiculous! Any other business, who tried to raise their price by 53%, would face such an enormous public backlash that they would be forced out of business. National Grid wins again. In 2016 the same PUC in Warwick allowed a 24% rate hike. An overall increase of 78% over two years? There is something shady going on here. Despite local citizen protests, the rates have been increased over and over. When will it end? We need to effect some change to local government and fast! Our local officials do not listen to nor do they care about the needs of the citizens of Rhode Island.
