It is completely understandable that most people disagree with kneeling during the anthem, much in the same way we disagree with the Westboro Baptist Church's protests at servicemen funerals. But the Supreme Court upheld their right to protest under free speech. If we silence it for one, will we be the one silenced next? It is a double-edged sword that goes both ways. At the very least, it opened up a dialogue. We shouldn't let this opportunity pass us by to build a bridge instead of burning it.
