Report Inappropriate Comments

I saw quite a few comments on Facebook about this incident that did nothing but call out "snowflakes" and finding their "safe place". I had a child at CCRI in class that day and after the school shootings that took place last week, neither my daughter or myself were upset at the precautions that were taken. We live in a very scary time where people have scant regard for life and shoot to kill without blinking an eye. Violence can and has erupted at what we consider safe locations: schools, church, malls, movie theaters, etc. When I was growing up I never had to think twice about being in those locations and being alert to potential danger. I am glad that the school and the police took this seriously. Thank you for keeping us safe.
