Dear Scal1024,

No Scal, I don't mind answering that question.

You asked "Where was the workforce reduction?" Good question. I was at the School Committee (SC) meeting when the SC unceremoniously fired 64 MORE teachers. I wrote about it in the Beacon. Don't you remember. You criticized me for it. The SC STILL gets $160 million +- of taxpayers money each year but they keep spending it on administrative staff like an "Asst. Principal of Climate and Culture" and an "Asst Principal of Teaching and Learning" while the teachers got lied to about receiving their back pay that they were promised in writing to receive 4 days before Christmas. You accuse me of pandering to the teachers. I call it standing up for what is right. If the opposite were the case, I would stand up for the SC. But it's not. The teachers were lied to Scal. You don't support that kind of treatment for them do you?

And no Scal, I'm not saying "Have one parade and we increase our number of taxpayers". I'm saying we need to promote Warwick to the rest of Rhode Island. You agree with that don't you Scal? Don't you think events like "Gaspee Days" attracts new homebuyers? Don't you think we need more events like that?? Maybe even Christmas decorations? What would you do to attract more taxpayers Scal?

Happy Spring Scal1024.

Happy Spring everyone.
