Dear Justanidiot,

Actually...it does.

And flushing out the pipes every few years keeps the sediment from going into our drinking water. It makes for a day or two of unclear water in our faucets but in the long run it provides cleaner water and extends the life of the water system that we taxpayers have to pay for.

Personally, I would rather pay for maintenance than replacement.

Wouldn't you? Or would you consider that "centsless"?
