Daydreambeliever the state has already made some pension reforms. The current Governor (while treasurer) didn't want to tackle municipal pensions then, she needed every vote possible to be elected Governor. If by state you mean the politicians not doing their job, fine. I would agree with that 100%. The state workforce had the retirement age go up, years of service increase, health insurance share increased, COLA and longevity taken away. I'd disagree with the idea the state hasn't done anything to curb costs. Theres more to be done but as I said they've made some reforms and more than most cities.
