Thank you for providing yet another voice of reason [which the make-believe mayor will no doubt ignore before making more uninformed statements] about the WTU and its tactics.
As you rightly point out, Warwick's teachers are well compensated with the expectation that they will do their jobs -- and yet, in the absence of a contract, they went work-to-rule and engaged in many other tactics like the sick-outs that reflected poorly on them.
And in the end, they accepted the mediated contract [despite the WTU president saying previously they were going to take the arbitrators' decision] because it was the best deal they could get. The taxpayers [who the make-believe mayor falsely claims to represent] are considered little more than a revenue source by the WTU.
