I find myself confused after reading a bunch of comments. What is the deal with the 80,000 taxpayers number? There aren't 80,000 taxpayers in Warwick. That would mean that children under the age of 18 are paying taxes.
I can see that the last census put Warwick at 80,871, with 14% being under 18. That would potentially give us 66,000 taxpayers right? Sorry but these kinds of round ups really drive me crazy. We have the facts at our fingertips so why not use an honest number? If I am wrong please let me know.
