The schools today are not the schools from years ago. You can't equate the two. Those who went to school in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s have no clue what it is like today. Stop trying to tell kids to behave differently when you have no idea what it is like. Kids wish that they could walk into a new school and just have to deal with first day jitters. Did the school bully kick sand in your face? Well now the school bully has weapons and they are not afraid to use them. Now kids have a pack mentality and just going into a bathroom alone could mean a beat down. Don't even start with "tell a teacher or beat the kid up and they will leave you alone" crap. You don't know what you are talking about so stop trivializing it.
