We all owe a great debt of thanks to The Warwick Beacon and ALL the candidates.

The Warwick Beacon had the obligation to "report the news" They did. But they went far above and beyond, dedicating many hours of uncompensated time and resources. I read the newspapers of other cities and towns (I own a mortgage company and their sales people are trying to sell me advertising EVERY DAY!) There is NO CITY OR TOWN that has a paper that is HALF as good as The Warwick Beacon. We are extremely fortunate to have them.

The candidates ALL succeeded. True, they won't ALL be elected but those that won't will still have a beneficial effect on those that do. Those that get elected will know how important it is to give their best efforts to STAY elected. For that value alone, every candidate did Warwick taxpayers a great service and they should ALL be respected.

The fact remains, Warwick will be a better place to live in 2019. The Mayors office, the City Council, and the School Committee all appear to be decently upgraded, and the candidates from this election, together with the reporting's from The Warwick Beacon, will have caused it. Now the job begins.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
