The City Council needs to pass an Ordinance, especially with the new conflicted SC members taking office, that will give them the authorize to ratify any collective bargaining agreement signed by the School Committee.. This would mirror the ratification rights the City Council has whenever the Mayor signs a collective bargaining agreement with the 3 city unions.
