City Council needs to pass an Ordinance or do whatever is necessary so that any future labor agreement signed by the school committee will have to be ratified by the City Council. Just like any labor agreement signed by the Mayor also needs to be ratified. This is the much needed checks and balance needed to ensure the new conflicted SC doesn't make an agreement that the city can't afford.
